OUR STORY
WEARJESUSIS was never meant to be just another clothing brand.
It all started in early 2020, during a season when the world was shutting down, fear was rising, and human connection was quickly vanishing. All we had was one shirt, one message, one design. The original “Jesus Is…” tee with nothing on the back. Just a statement left intentionally unfinished to spark conversations.
One day while I was walking out of a Publix (grocery store) in downtown Chattanooga, a woman named Becky saw my shirt and immediately smiled. “My best friend,” she said, finishing the phrase on my shirt.
That single moment sparked an incredible conversation about Jesus. No stage. No microphone. No agenda. Just a shirt, a parking lot, and a shared faith. That conversation turned into a friendship.
Months later, I invited Becky to attend some revival meetings at my church. Not only did she come, but she brought her husband and her stepson, Luke also.
Luke connected deeply with the powerful preaching. At the end of those meetings, he made a decision that changed his life. He accepted God’s call and chose to be baptized.
That was a soul-stirring moment for me. Not because my brand was involved, but because a soul was won to the kingdom of heaven. God used a shirt to do what many might deem impossible. God often works in unconventional ways to accomplish His purposes.
But the story doesn’t end there.
Luke didn’t just get baptized and move on. He stepped into a life of service. Later, we traveled together on a mission trip to Mexico, working side by side to help build churches. The same young man who once saw the shirt because his step-mom noticed it in a parking lot was now actively serving others, helping bring hope to communities in need.
That experience confirmed what WEARJESUSIS has always been about.
Real life impact.
WEARJESUSIS exists to help believers live out their faith in everyday life. We believe that what you wear can be an evangelistic tool. It may not necessarily save everyone who sees it, but it can spark the conversations that lead people to the Savior.
Our designs are intentionally simple, bold, and gospel centered. They are designed to invite curiosity, dialogue, and reflection. They are meant to be worn everywhere life happens: grocery stores, classrooms, airports, job sites, mission fields and beyond.
